SWORDSMEN FIND PERFECT FOIL FOR THEIR TALENTS

Andrew Weatherall and Keith Teniswood christen the new venture after their east London recording studio...

TWO LONE SWORDSMEN duo ANDREW WEATHERALL and KEITH TENNISWOOD have set up a new record label, ROTTERS GOLF CLUB RECORDS.

Named after their east London recording studio, the label follows the demise of Weatherall’s previous label Emission Audio Output.

According to the duo’s website [url=]www.rottersgolfclub.co.uk, three EPs are set to be the label’s first releases. They are ‘Raver’ from New Orleans’ duo Klart, ‘Benacassim’ from Aramcheck and ‘Through Mist At 200’ from Radioactive Man.

Speaking to [url=]www.ananova.com of his experiences with the now defunct Emission Audio Output, Weatherall said: “I spent several years learning how not to run a label, a couple not thinking about running a label and now I’ve got all the experience from the first bit and all the tracks stocked up from the second bit.

“So I’m thinking we could consolidate that information and the music into something that’s quality and properly run.”

No confirmed release date has yet been revealed.
