Lady Gaga made a surprise appearance at the latest of U2‘s Madison Square Garden residency shows in New York.

The singer teamed up with the band at their gig on Sunday (July 26), performing a duet of the group’s ‘Ordinary Love’ with Bono.

The song originally featured on the soundtrack for 2013 Nelson Mandela biopic Mandela: Long Walk To Freedom.

Meanwhile, Bono has launched his own line of sunglasses to help raise funds for people with eye problems.

The singer, who revealed last year that he suffers with glaucoma, has teamed up with Revo for their ‘Buy Vision, Give Sight’ campaign which aims to raise $10 million (£6.25 million) for screening and glasses.

The company will donate $10 (£6.25) for each pair of eyeglasses it sells to the campaign. Bono will introduce his own collection with the firm this autumn.

“Poor eyesight may not be life-threatening, but it dramatically affects your life and your livelihood if you aren’t able to fix it,” Bono said.

He added: “When we met with experts, they said the number one problem is untreated poor vision, which prevents a child from learning in school, or an adult from performing their job.”

“Sight is a human right and the ‘Buy Vision, Give Sight’ initiative will help ensure millions of people have access to the eye exams and glasses they need to see.”
