U2 have added two last-minute Scottish dates to their sell-out ELEVATION tour next week.

The band will play Glasgow SECC on Monday and Tuesday next week (August 27, 28), with tickets going on sale today at mid-day.

Speaking on the band’s official website, www.u2.com, their manager Paul McGuinness said: “We are delighted that the tour will be coming to Glasgow. U2 loves playing in Scotland – the audiences there are legendary.” Local band and recent Top 40 stars Cosmic Rough Riders will support.

The band, who wound up four nights at London Earl’s Court last night (August 22), had come under fire from Scottish fans after leaving the country out of their UK tour schedule.
