U2 will today allow fans an exclusive listen to new track ‘BEAUTIFUL DAY’ when they post a soundclip of it on [url=]www.u2.com.

From today (July 31), you can access the song way ahead of its autumn release.

As previously announced on nme.com, U2 have installed a webcam in their studio so fans can watch the four-piece putting the finishing touches to the new album, their first studio album proper since 1997’s ‘Pop’. Frontman Bono posted a message on the site explaining that fans could witness a little of the “certain magic… [of] three musicians and a dyslexic” getting together to “play in a room”.

And Bono has also been busy outside of the band too. He has contributed vocals to ‘Air Suspension’, a track by leftfield New York drum ‘n’ bass producer Mocean Worker (real name Adam Dorn). Dorn played bass in the Million Dollar Hotel band and so appeared on the soundtrack for the Bono/Wim Wenders co-scripted feature.

Dorn‘s spokesperson could not be reached in New York this afternoon for details of possible release, but his most recent album ‘Mixed Emotional Features’ was released last year through Palm Pictures.
