The Cribs have branded this year’s V Festival as their favourite of the year.

Despite their crusade against corporate indie, the Wakefield trio were jubilant after making their debut at the festival at Staffordshire‘s Weston Park yesterday (August 18).

Ryan Jarman went as far as to say that the festival was a highlight of their year so far.

“I’ve never even been to the V Festival, but we always like to get out of Leeds,” he said. “It was actually one of my favourite festivals we’ve done all festival season – and we’ve done a lot of festivals this year. Gig-wise it was the surprise hit of our festival season.”
