Just Jack kicks off V Festival 2007 in Chelmsford

Hylands Park gets 'Starz' in their eyes

Just Jack kicked off V Festival in Chelmsford‘s Hylands Park this afternoon (August 18).

The London singer played a selection of tracks from his second album ‘Overtones’ and debut ‘The Outer Marker’.

He welcomed the crowd by saying: “Are you all awake now? We will endeavour to be the musical equivalent of a breakfast bap and a nice cup of tea.”

Just Jack introduced live favourite ‘Goth In A Disco’ by saying: “No prizes for guessing, this song is about a goth in a disco.”

The biggest cheer of his set came for ‘Starz In Their Eyes’, which saw the rapper and his band sporting Elton John-style star shaped glasses.

He played:

‘Life Stories’

‘Writer’s Block’

‘Glory Days’

‘Goth In A Disco’

‘Disco Friends’

‘Starz In Their Eyes’
