V Festival 2007: Day one kicks off

This weekend’s V Festival has kicked off today (August 18).

The festival takes place at Hylands Park in Essex and Stafford‘s Weston Park, with the line-ups then swapping sites for the second day.

Foo Fighters are set to headline the V Stage in Chelmsford, with Kanye West and Editors also playing.

The Kooks headline the Channel 4 stage, which will also see performances from Amy Winehouse and Babyshambles.

Meanwhile in the JJB/Puma Arena Primal Scream headline, with Jarvis Cocker and Dizzee Rascal also performing.

At Weston Park, The Killers are set headline the V Stage with performances also coming from Kasabian.

Manic Street Preachers, Lily Allen and The Cribs play the Channel 4 Stage.

Iggy & The Stooges, Mutya Buena and Willy Mason all play the JJB/Puma Arena.

Meanwhile, Graham Coxon, Robyn and Candie Payne are among the other artists set to perform.
