'Keep It Simple' released in March

Van Morrison has announced he is to release his first studio album in two years.

’Keep It Simple’ will be released on March 17.

All 11 songs have been specially penned for the record, which Morrison himself mused: “I felt I had something to say with these songs.”

The record follows a 2CD ’Best Of’ release last year, and a host of the singer’s old albums are also to be reissued throughout 2008.
