Rapper Vanilla Ice is set to join an Amish community for a new reality television show.
Vanilla Ice Goes Amish will star the rapper – real name Robert Van Winkle – and premiere later in the year on US channel the DIY Network. Ice wrote on his Twitter account of the project:
This show is going to be amazing, pure magical. Get in where you fit in, and I'm sitting in with the Amish. LOL

The show will be filmed in Ohio and see Ice fully immersing himself in the Amish culture with particular focus on the community’s construction projects, reports MSN.
A keen handyman, he formerly presented home improvements show The Vanilla Ice Project on the same channel back in 2011.
Vanilla Ice also released his sixth studio album, ‘WTF (Wisdom, Tenacity And Focus)’, in 2011. It featured a guest appearance from Insane Clown Posse on a track called ‘Born On Halloween’.
Ice is currently signed to Insane Clown Posse‘s own label, Psychopathic Records.
Vanilla Ice shot to fame in 1990 with the single ‘Ice Ice Baby’, the first hip-hop song to top the US Billboard chart.
