Reading and Leeds Festival 2015; Alt-J, Palma Violets lead host of new additions to line-up

This years festival will be headlined by Mumford & Sons, Metallica and The Libertines

Palma Violets and Alt-J are among more than 50 new additions to the line-up for this year’s Reading & Leeds line-up.

Alt-J will perform directly before headliners Mumford & Sons on the Main Stage with Palma Violets and Drenge both set to perform on the same day. Other Main Stage additions today also include The Gaslight Anthem, Modestep, Fidlar, Against Me! and Feed The Rhino.

Other new additions to the line-up include NME and Radio 1 Stage acts such as Twin Atlantic, Parquet Courts, Spector and Kwabs while Charli XCX, Rustie, Evian Christ and MK are new on the bill for the Radio 1 Dance Stage.

The Libertines were recently announced as the third and final headliners for this year’s Reading and Leeds festival. The band join Metallica and Mumford & Sons at the top of the bills for the events, which take place from August 28 to 30 across the two sites.

They join previously announced acts including The Cribs, The Maccabees, A$AP Ferg, Azealia Banks, Bring Me The Horizon, Django Django, Everything Everything, Slaves and Frank Turner. Kendrick Lamar, Peace and Swim Deep on the bill (see full list below).
