Electronic producer Arca banned from Instagram for posting explicit artwork

The artwork was designed by FKA Twigs collaborator Jesse Kanda

Venezuelan producer Arca faces an Instagram ban after sharing the NSFW cover art for ‘Vanity’.

The track’s artwork is by close collaborator Jesse Kanda, which seemingly violated Instagram’s terms and conditions when it was uploaded on Sunday (May 31). This prompted the social media platform to delete Arca’s entire account, the musician alleges.

Arca wrote on Twitter: “Jesse’s art for vanity got my Instagram account deleted forever. This is the world we live in.” See that tweet below. The artwork features a distorted image of a woman exposing her genitals.

Artist Jesse Kanda has been known to depict surreal images in his work, most noticeably on the album art for FKA Twig’s ‘LP1’, released last year.

‘Vanity’ is available to download for free now via SoundCloud.
