The Texas soul singer is perhaps best known for his track ‘Coming Home’, and he was among the names on NME’s Ones to Watch 2015 list last January, appearing alongside artists like Shamir, Slaves and The Districts.

British comedian Corden this week began his new job hosting the weeknightly show on US TV network CBS, and recruited Mariah Carey to star in one of the first skits.

Driving to the studio in a Range Rover, the pair sang a number of Carey’s hit singles together, including ‘Always Be My Baby’, ‘Thirsty’ and ‘Vision of Love’. Carey also attempted to replicate Corden’s British accent, with the Londoner showing off his New York twang in response. Click below to watch.
