Arctic Monkeys, Calvin Harris and Biffy Clyro will headline annual bash
Music fans attending this weekend’s T In The Park can expect conditions to be warm and sunny to begin with before rain affects the second day of the Scottish festival.
The bash at Balado in Kinross starts tomorrow (July 11) with performances from Arctic Monkeys, Calvin Harris and Biffy Clyro due across the weekend.
Friday’s weather is forecast to be dry, bright and warm in most places. The day will start out misty at first but sunshine will break through later on, reports BBC Weather. Light winds will contribute to maximum temperatures of 21 degrees Celcius.
T In The Park continues on Saturday (July 12) and Sunday (13), with showers or longer spells of rain developing on Saturday. Things will dry up on Sunday. however, when Arctic Monkeys headline the third and final day of the festival.
Other confirmed acts for the weekend include Disclosure, Elbow, Jake Bugg, Haim, Ed Sheeran, Pixies, Example, Franz Ferdinand, Pharrell Williams, Paul Weller, Tinie Tempah and Manic Street Preachers.
Meanwhile, Odd Future rapper Earl Sweatshirt has pulled out of the festival after cancelling a number of live dates though exhaustion earlier this week. A spokesperson for the festival confirmed that Earl Sweatshirt’s place on the bill will be taken by Tijuana Bibles, who will now play the slot in King Tut’s Tent rather than BBC Introducing Stage.
