The former one-dayer will happen on June 7 and 8 in London's Victoria Park
Field Day will take place over one weekend next year, it has been announced.
The London festival launched in 2007 as a one-dayer and takes place annually in London’s Victoria Park. This year it will take place on Saturday June 7 as well as Sunday June 8.
Promoter Tom Baker of Eat Your Own Ears said in a statement: “I am thrilled that Field Day is now taking place over two days in London’s Victoria Park. It’s been a long time coming. I can’t wait to reveal who’s playing…”
Last year’s line-up included performances from headliners Animal Collective as well as Bat For Lashes, Four Tet, Solange, Chvrches, Kurt Vile, Jagwar Ma, and Disclosure.
Previous acts to play the bash include Wild Beasts, Franz Ferdinand, The Horrors, The xx, John Cale, Warpaint, The Vaccines, Metronomy and Savages.
A limited number of super early bird tickets for the Saturday (June 7) are available now priced at £30. Once these tickets have sold out, limited early bird tickets for the Saturday will be available for £45. Tickets for the Sunday (June 8) and joint weekend tickets will go on sale later this month.
