Club NME to launch in Southampton

We're massively excited to announce the launch of an all new night on the south coast

Club NME Southampton will launch at Unit in Southampton next Saturday (July 12) with Happyness set to perform live on the opening night.

Playing host to club nights and featuring some of the UK’s best acts including The Vaccines, Disclosure and Two Door Cinema Club and more since it’s inception in 2008, Unit has become the home of all things indie/alternative in Southampton.

A spokesperson for Unit says: “We’re really proud that we’ve been picked to host one of the best club nights in the country and bring it to our city! Southampton’s got a great musical history with acts such as Band Of Skulls, Frank Turner and The Vaccines either hailing from the city or plying their trade here, as well as every major band in the country having passed through at some point. The future’s looking great too, with new acts including Dolomite Minor, New Desert Blues, Seán McGowan, Wild Smiles, Fever and more set to put their own stamp on Southampton’s musical history, with Club NME coming to town, we hope to do the same!”

Check out Club NME Southampton’s Facebook and Twitter for more details as they come.

Happyness released their debut album ‘Weird Little Birthday’ earlier this year and will appear at the Unit nightclub at the launch of Club NME in the south coast city. See below for ticket details.
