The track will be taken from 'The X Factor' reject's new EP
Frankie Cocozza has revealed the video to his debut single ‘She’s Got A Motorcycle’.
Cocozza, who was kicked off the 2011 series of The X Factor after he was caught taking cocaine, appears in the video alongside his bandmates. ‘She’s Got A Motorcycle’ is taken from Cocozza’s debut, ‘The Motorcycle EP’, which is currently number 19 in the iTunes chart.
The music has a more indie rock style than most X Factor alumni – Cocozza auditioned for the show singing a Zutons song and performed tracks by The Kinks and Primal Scream during the live shows.
Cocozza recently claimed that he was encouraged to behave badly during his time on The X Factor, with producers desperate for him to keep people entertained. “I just got caned week in, week out. I didn’t want to be there but they did everything they could to keep me in,” Cocozza told the Daily Star.
“They’d tell me I had VIP at a club and would book me a car to take me to the door. Then when I arrived there were paps everywhere! They wouldn’t let me do the songs I wanted to do, they wouldn’t let me wear what I wanted to, and I was just too much of a pussy to say no.
“Then when I kept getting through each week I think they thought: ‘Shit, he could win this and we can’t have that’, so they fucked me off in the most horrible way.”
