The Stone Roses are to headline T in the Park next month (July 8-10).
The legendary band, who have recently released their first new songs in over 20 years, ‘Beautiful Thing’ and ‘All For One’, will take to the stage on the Friday of the three-day event. Calvin Harris will headline on the Saturday, with Red Hot Chili Peppers headlining on the Sunday.
The 1975, Catfish and the Bottlemen and Jake Bugg will also perform at the massive Scottish festival, which takes place over the weekend of July 8-10 at Strathallan Castle in Perthshire.
O2 are offering festival tickets this month (June) through Priority. Keep an eye on NME.com for further announcements over the next few days.
From 9am on Monday June 13 to 9am on Wednesday June 15, O2 customers who buy one T in the Park ticket through Priority will receive a second T in the Park ticket at no extra cost.
T in the Park’s packed lineup also includes sets from Major Lazer, Tinie Tempah, Disclosure, Bastille, LCD Soundsystem, The Last Shadow Puppets, The Courteeners and Jess Glynne. Other acts booked to perform include James Bay, Kaiser Chiefs, Chase & Status, Jamie xx, Alessia Cara, Craig David’s TS5 and Diplo.
