Rapper Doe B was shot and killed in Alabama in the early hours of yesterday morning (December 28).
Doe B – real name Glenn Thomas – was fatally shot along with another person, said to be 22-year-old Kimberle Johnson, during an incident at the Centennial Bar and Grill on Highland Avenue in Montgomery, according to reports.
Confirmation that the up-and-coming rapper, who is a member of Grand Hustle’s Hustle Gang, had been shot and killed came from his management, who posted the following message on his official twitter page:

The Blueprint Group, the management firm to which Doe B was signed, also released this statement: “Doe B was an amazing young man, in every sense of the word. A truly talented artist, a loving father and a dedicated member of the hip hop community at large, he touched the lives of the many people who had the privilege of knowing him.
“The Blueprint Group offers our condolences to our Doe B label partners Interscope / Hustle Gang, his management DJ Frank White and Brooklyn Knights, and most of all his family, friends and fans at this very difficult time. We ask that you remember him not by his untimely death, but by his love of life and the music he left behind.”
No arrests have been made so far and, following the shooting, Montgomery Mayor Todd Strange has ordered the closure of the Centennial Bar and Grill.
