'The Black Bar Mitzvah' drops two months after album 'God Forgives, I Don't'
Rick Ross has announced he’ll be releasing a new mixtape, titled ‘The Black Bar Mitzvah’, on Monday (October 8).
Ross’ latest mixtape comes just two months after the rapper released his latest studio album ‘God Forgives, I Don’t’, and is the follow-up to February’s ‘Rich Forever’ mixtape.
The Teflon Don tweeted the announcement last night (October 3), writing:
‘The Black Bar Mitzvah’ mixtape will be available as a free download on October 8 at 2pm (EST) from datpliff.com.
Last Saturday (September 29), Rick Ross was involved in a backstage altercation with 50 Cent and rapper Young Jeezy’s crew at the BET Awards in Atlanta.
According to TMZ sources, Ross and Yeezy exchanged heated words backstage and started shoving each other before their security and entourage intervened to split the pair up. The US gossip website reports that the argument didn’t stop there as an eyewitness alleged that a member of Rick Ross’ entourage pulled out a gun while in the car park and shots were fired.
However, a spokesman for the Atlanta Police Department confirmed that they had been called out to deal with a fight which had broken out in the car park of the Atlantic Civic Center but said “reports of shots fired appear to untrue”.
