Actress will join director Jim Jarmusch in selecting films for festival goers to watch

Tilda Swinton will curate a day of films at All Tomorrow’s Parties in Iceland later this month, it has been confirmed.

A spokesperson for ATP confirmed to NME that Oscar-nominated actress will select one day of films with director Jim Jarmusch selecting films for the other day os the festival takes place between June 28-29. Swinton and Jarmusch have recently worked together on new movie Only Lovers Left Alive which also stars Tom Hiddlestone, best known for his role as Loki in The Avengers.

ATP Iceland takes place on former NATO base in Keflavik, Iceland. Nick Cave And The Bad Seeds will headline one of the dates with Thurtson Moore’s Chelsea Light Moving also appearing alongside The Fall, Deerhoof and The Notwist.

Meanwhile, The Breeders are to play their classic 1993 album ‘Last Splash’ at Deerhunter‘s ATP Festival in Camber Sands this weekend (June 21-23). The three day-long event will also feature Deerhunter performing their albums ‘Cryptograms’, ‘Microcastle’ and ‘Halcyon Digest’, as well as sets from Atlas Sound, Panda Bear, No Age and Black Lips.
