Tickets will go on general sale at 9am on October 6 priced at £210 plus a £5 booking fee
Tickets for Glastonbury Festival 2014 will go on sale at 9am on Sunday, October 6.
According to the official Glastonbury Festival website, festival goers will be able to book individual tickets by paying a £50 deposit, either online at through Seetickets, on 0844 412 4635 from a UK phone or, for international callers, from +44 1159 934 183. Tickets will be priced at £210 plus a £5 booking fee. Purchases will be limited to a maximum six tickets per transaction.
A small number of tickets and coach travel bundles will go on sale prior to the general sale on Thursday October 3. 15,000 coach and ticket packages will, for the first time, be sold in advance of the general sale. Fans purchasing tickets this way will be required to pay the £50 deposit plus the full coach ticket price upfront.
People who book a ticket on October 6 will have until the first week in April 2014 to pay off the remaining £160 plus £5 booking fee. All ticket buyers must be registered with Glastonbury with the application process closing on September 30. Registration is free and can be completed www.glastonburyregistration.co.ukhere.
Earlier this month, Glastonbury founder Michael Eavis revealed that next year’s headliners are three bands who have never played at Worthy Farm before. The 2014 event will take place from June 27-29 and tickets are set to go on sale in October. Bookmakers are already taking bets on everyone from Daft Punk to Fleetwood Mac making the trip to Somerset next year.
