Acts join headliners Kings Of Leon and Beyoncé on the bill

Former Swedish House Mafia member Steve Angello, Everything Everything, Katy B and Mark Owen are some of the acts added to the V Festival line-up today (May 31).

Lissie, Conor Maynard, The Pigeon Detectives, Jaguar Skills, McFly, 5ive, The Eels, The Heavy, Netsky Live!, The Original Rudeboys, Nina Nesbitt and K-Koke have also been confirmed to play across the weekend. Kings Of Leon and Beyonce will headline this year’s V Festival, which takes place over the weekend of August 17-18 at Hylands Park, Chelmsford and Weston Park, Staffordshire. Also set to play the festival are Two Door Cinema Club, The Vaccines, Stereophonics, The Courteeners, Kendrick Lamar, Jessie Ware, and Maximo Park. For more information, visit: VFestival.com.

Kings Of Leon – who are expected to release a new album this year – have already been confirmed to play a number of European festivals, including Poland’s Open’er, Optimus Alive in Portugal and Rock Werchter in Belgium. The band will also play shows in London, Manchester and Birmingham in June and July, staring at London’s O2 Arena on June 12 and 13 before playing Manchester Arena on June 24 and 25. The tour then runs to Birmingham’s LG Arena on July 9-10.
