Band and fans arrange candlelit vigil for late singer
Suicide Silence’s frontman Mitch Lucker has died after sustaining fatal injuries in a motorcycle accident.
A report from the local police department confirmed that Lucker was killed from injuries sustained when his Harley Davidson bike crashed into a light pole in Huntington Beach on Halloween night.
The metal band broke the news to their fans on Twitter, writing: “There’s no easy way to say this. RIP Mitchell Adam Lucker – We Love You Brother.” The band then arranged a candlelit vigil for fans the same day, and later thanked fans for their support, stating: “Words cannot even describe the amount of love expressed at tonight’s candlelight vigil. It was truly incredible.”
Suicide Silence have released three albums Suicide Silence including ‘The Cleansing’ in 2007, ‘No Time to Bleed’ in 2009 and 2011’s ‘The Black Crown’.
