Speaking to New York radio station WFMU, Reed Mullin said that Teenage Time Killer was first planned as a much shorter project but grew in size with the number of people who became involved. “We had all these other folks that want to participate. It’s a very good mixture of old hardcore punk, punk and metal stuff … People are going to be pleasantly surprised. It’s pretty cool.”

Meanwhile, Dave Grohl has said that the new Foo Fighters album is different from anything the band have done before. The band recently revealed that the sessions for their new album are “fucking on” by posting a picture of a row of master tapes labelled ‘Foo Fighters LP 8’ to their official Instagram.
