Rapper will bring his new album 'God Forgives, I Don't' over next month
Rick Ross has announced a one-off UK show for next month.
The rapper, who released his new album ‘God Forgives, I Don’t’ last month, will headline London’s Wembley Arena on September 12.
Ross will be joined by a series of other artists from his Maybach Music label, including Meek Mill, Wale and newly-signed Omarion, formerly of big-selling boyband B2K. You can watch a video of Ross announcing the show at the bottom of the page.
‘God Forgives, I Don’t’ is the fifth solo album of Ross’ career and contains a total of 15 tracks. Jay-Z, Dr Dre and Outkast‘s Andre 3000 are among the album’s guests as are Drake, Omarian, Ne-Yo, Usher, up and coming rapper Elijah Blake and a host of other collaborators.
The rapper hit the headlines last year after he was hospitalised in Birmingham, Alabama after suffering two mid-air seizures while flying from Florida to Tennessee.
Ross said that a lack of downtime was to blame, telling BET’S 106 & Park that he was “totally healthy” after being checked by doctors for cancer, diabetes and HIV. He said: “It was a case of me not getting enough rest, enough sleep. I would get two hours of sleep and keep moving… that has to stop.”
