Rick Ross reveals new album title

The rapper plays a London show later this week

Rapper Rick Ross has revealed that his new album will entitled ‘God Forgives, I Don’t’.

The album, which follows 2010’s ‘Teflon Don’, will be Ross’ fifth album and is set for release later in the year. It comes on the back of his ‘Rich Forever’ mixtape, which featured Diddy, John Legend, Nas and Drake.

The rapper appeared at SXSW in Austin, Texas last week and will play London’s Proud 2 venue on March 23 and April 2. He will then perform at Birmingham Ballroom (April 3) and Manchester Apollo (4).

The rapper – real name William Leonard Roberts II – was hospitalised in Birmingham, Alabama last October after suffering two mid-air seizures while flying from Florida to Tennessee.

Ross said that a lack of downtime was too blame, telling BET’S 106 & Park that he was “totally healthy” after being checked by doctors for cancer, diabetes and HIV. He said: “It was a case of me not getting enough rest, enough sleep. I would get two hours of sleep and keep moving… that has to stop.”

50 Cent commented on Ross’s medical problems at the time, taking to his Twitter account to declare that he didn’t wish him any ill-health.

The two rappers have been involved in a feud since 2009, but when 50 Cent was asked if he was going to pray for Ross, he replied: “No, but I don’t wish DEATH on him my grandfather had a seizure.”
