Horror punk veterans line up six shows

Misfits have announced plans for a UK tour next February.

The horror punk outfit will hit the road for six shows kicking off at London’s O2 Islington Academy at the beginning of the month.

The band will be performing tracks from their recently released first album in over eight years ‘The Devil’s Rain’. Support will come from JuiceheaD, who are signed to the horror punk outfit’s own label.

Misfits will play:

O2 Academy Islington London (1)
Reading Sub 89 (2)
Birmingham Ballroom (3)
O2 Academy Newcastle (4)
Brighton Concorde 2 (5)
Bristol Fleece (6)

The band are currently working on a new album, their eighth studio effort – ‘How To Sail A Sinking Ship’. It is set to be released following the shows in February.

Bassist Jerry Only said:

The new album will only reinforce how potent the band has become with time. We plan to continue as always, to eclipse the past, block the sun and drag humanity by the throat into a world of darkness filled with ghouls, goblins and creatures of the night, where we are king.
