Former Death Row Records boss convicted after being pulled over by LA police

Former Death Row Records boss Suge Knight has been sentenced to 36 months probation for driving on a suspended licence.

The rap mogul was convicted after police pulled him over and impounded his black truck in Beverly Hills back in February.

He pleaded no contest to the charge and was given three years unsupervised probation, reports TMZ.

This is the second time the rap mogul has been caught driving on a suspended licence.

In 2010, he was pulled on the same charge but he failed to appear in court. He was later arrested after the judge issued a warrant for Knight.

In the same year he was also arrested for assault with a deadly weapon in Los Angeles.

The rap mogul was picked up by police after allegedly pointing a gun at someone then leaving the scene by car.

The arrest was not Knight‘s only ongoing legal problem. He also faced Kanye West in court, having sued him following a shooting at a party hosted by West in Miami.
