New stage of voting underway at NME.COM/smallvenues
The first stage of NME‘s search for Britain’s Best Small Venue is complete and the regional shortlists for the honour have been announced.
The campaign is highlighting how vital small venues in the country are to bands and music scenes, and was officially kicked by Friendly Fires at an intimate gig at their local pub The Horn in St Albans earlier this month. Since then thousands of NME readers and NME.COM users have been suggesting which venue with a capacity of around 500 or less should be crowned Britain’s Best Small Venue – the regional shortlists are now online at NME.COM/smallvenues.
Users can head there now to vote for who they think should win. Following the vote to find the regional winners a panel of artists and experts will pick one as the overall winner.
Check out the shortlists and show your favourite some love now at NME.COM/smallvenues.
