She is allegedly singing with an unsigned US band

Peaches Geldof is apparently set to launch her own music career.

The tabloid favourite is, according to The Sun, currently recording a number of songs in Los Angeles with an unsigned American group called The Grand Marquee.

The band have allegedly written songs especially for Peaches, who is said to be taking musical advice off her father, Boomtown Rats frontman Bob Geldof. A ‘source’ told the paper: “She’s been taking advice from her dad… But she can’t hold a note to save her life.”

Recently, Peaches had to deny that she was planning to join her boyfriend Tom Cohen‘s band S.C.U.M – pictured right. A report in The People claimed that the TV presenter had been rehearsing with the London band. The newspaper quoted another ‘source’ who said that she had been given the green light by Cohen to “get involved with his projects”.

However, reacting to the report on her Twitter page, Twitter.com/peaches_g, Peaches said that she has “no intention” of joining the band “ever”.
