NME Radar stars ‘2:54’ announce debut EP details

Wild Beasts favourites also plot UK tour dates - ticket details

Hotly tipped newcomers 2:54 have announced plans to release their debut EP ‘Scarlet’ in the autumn.

The grunge siblings have teamed up with Depeche Mode knob-twiddler Alan Moulder for the four track record, which is out on November 14.

The band, who feature in this week’s Radar section of NME, have been championed by Wild Beasts frontman Hayden Thorpe. He said:

They’re really quite special. They’re quite effortless and that can’t be faked. It’s quite a revivalist sound, grunge-crossover/early Britpop, but it’s executed so beautifully.
