Frankie & The Heartstrings announce debut album details

'Hunger' set for February release

Frankie And The Heartstrings are set to release their debut album, ‘Hunger’, on February 21.

The band will release the album’s title track as a single a week before, on February 14.

The album was produced by Edwyn Collins in his West Heath Studio in London. Drummer Dave Harper told NME that the record has a ‘recorded live’ feel to it.

“I’ve heard that many polished ‘studio’ records,” he said. “I don’t know what you do with them apart from listen to them on your iPod on the way into Shoreditch. You’ve got to be able to do it live. And that’s what we’re going for with this.”
