Prime Minister gets a kicking from NME readers and NME.COM users
UK Prime Minister David Cameron has been named Villain Of The Year at the Shockwaves NME Awards 2011 tonight (February 23).
NME readers and NME.COM users voted for him to get the dubious honour ahead of nominees Axl Rose, Simon Cowell, Justin Bieber and his Deputy PM Nick Clegg.
Past recipients include George W Bush and, in 2010, Kanye West.
