Iyaz beats Sidney Samson to singles chart Number One

'Replay' hits the singles summit ahead of 'Riverside (Let's Go)'

Iyaz has beaten Sidney Samson to the top of the UK singles chart today (January 10) with his debut single ‘Replay’.

The British Virgin Islands-based singer/rapper’s sales beat those of the Dutch DJ/producer’s single ‘Riverside (Let’s Go)’ – which on an average sales week would have been Number One. ‘Replay’ sold around 106,000 copies compared to ‘Riverside (Let’s Go)’‘s 97,000.

In the albums stakes Paolo Nutini held on to the top spot with his latest effort ‘Sunny Side Up’.
