Banks held after alleged hotel room incident

50 Cent‘s G-Unit rap cohort Lloyd Banks has been arrested in Ontario on assault and robbery charges.

Banks plus three associates – Nicklas Sloane, Shawn McGee and Tyrell Cooper – were held by police in Kitchener after allegedly assaulting and robbing a gig promoter they had a dispute with in a hotel room yesterday (January 10), reports MTV News.

The four are still in police custody and are due to appear in court early this week (beginning January 11) after being charged with forceful confinement, aggravated assault and robbery.

Banks‘ spokesperson has declined to comment.
