Pylon guitarist passes away

Randy Bewley suffered a heart attack

Pylon guitarist Randy Bewley has passed away in Athens, GA after suffering a heart attack.

Bewley was driving his van yesterday afternoon (February 25) when the attack took place. His vehicle drifted off the road and overturned, according to his bandmate Vanessa Hay.

Bewley was one of the founding members of the band in 1978, and after 12 years and three albums, they split up.

According to onlineathens.com , the band reunited for a show on January 1, 2005 and had been playing together since then.
