Tennent’s Lager gets involved in music

Beer to give fans opportunity to shape the face of live shows in Scotland

Scottish lager Tennent’s is launching a new music venture called The Tennent’s Mutual.

Tennent’s are giving a start-up fund of £150,000 to music fans who will then decide exactly how the money is invested thus creating The Tennent’s Mutual live programme.

These fans will become the project’s founding members and will select artists, gig locations and ticket pricing by discussing them as a community and voting for their preferences online.

The programme aims to create new and affordable access to live music in Scotland and will begin in October or November this year.
