Stormzy’s mum shares footage of grime MC rapping as an 8-year old – watch

October UK tour announced today

Video footage of rising grime MC Stormzy rapping as an 8 year old child has been revealed.

The footage, which you can see below, shows Stormzy (real name Michael Omari) performing in front of the camera at home in 2002. The video was shot by Stormzy’s mum, who recently appeared in the video for his single ‘Know Me From’.

The video begins with present day Stormzy saying that he looks like a “flipping idiot” in the video. It then cuts back in time to him playing Playstation and rapping about his school life for his mum. The 8 year old in the video says he gets in trouble from a female teacher for rapping at school but doesn’t care “because all girls smell.”
