Grandmaster Flash appeals for return of stolen car after parking valet hands keys to wrong person

Incident took place in New York on July 16

Grandmaster Flash has lost his car after a parking valet returned the keys to the wrong person.

New York City police are investigating the theft after the car went missing from a Manhattan garage earlier this month. Police say that the hip-hop DJ, real name Joseph Saddler, parked his car in the Chelsea are on July 16 at around 7:30PM.

The Dodge Charger was not in the garage when he returned to collect it with an attendant informing him that the keys had been handed to somebody else. Police claim that the attendant “made a mistake” and believed he had handed the keys to their rightful owner.

The car remains missing and Grandmaster Flash is appealing for its return via Twitter.

Flash’s most recent appearane in the UK came when he joined Mark Ronson on stage at Glastonbury for a star-studded rendition of ‘Uptown Funk’. In addition to Flash, Ronson also recruited Mary J Blige and George Clinton to perform his hit single at the festival.
