The Violet May and The Chakras are set to play live at Club NME KOKO in London on June 25.
The bands will be joined on the bill by resident Club NME KOKO DJs.
Violet May frontman Chris McClure told NME.COM: “For reasons unbeknown it feels like a Cinderella story. I have been scrubbing the floor for the last year and now it’s brilliant NME have invited us to play at the ball. When we filmed our video in Stringfellows we were given champagne and canapes, we expect the same NME.”
Next week (July 2) Young Rebel Set and May68 will take to the stage at the London club night in Camden’s KOKO.
Meanwhile, Tiffany Page and Spindle & Wit are lined up to play on July 9.
