THE WARM JETS, recent stars of the NME/Miller Genuine Draft Tour, have announced their own headlining tour to mark the release of their debut album ‘Future Signs’ on Monday (February 23).
The band, who release new single ‘Hurricane’ from the album on March 30 as a follow-up to their top 40 hit ‘Never Never’, play Colchester Arts Centre (March 4), Chelmsford Y Club (5), Reading Alley Cat (6), Bedford Esquires (7), Wolverhamton Varsity (8), Middlesbrough Cornerhouse (10), Edinburgh La Belle Angele (11), Aberdeen The Works (12), Glasgow King Tut’s Wah Wah Hut (13), York Fibbers (14), Leeds Duchess Of York (16), Sheffield University (17), Manchester Roadhouse (19), Liverpool Lomax (20), Birmingham Flapper And Firkin (21), Bristol Fleece And Firkin (23), Portsmouth Wedgewood Rooms (24), Bournemouth University (25), Brighton Pavilion Theatre (26) and London ULU (27).
Support on all dates comes from Idlewild, apart from in Brighton where Six By Seven round out the bill.
Meanwhile, the band have contributed ‘Romero’ and ‘Hurricane’ to the soundtrack for Lynda La Plante’s forthcoming TV thriller Killer Net, which will hit the small screen later this year.
