Setlist includes numerous songs from eponymous new album

LA’s Warpaint played a sold-out show at London’s Koko last night (February 18).

Performing as part of the series of NME Awards Shows with Austin, Texas, the Californian quartet took to the stage after a support slot from Liverpool band All We Are.

Songs from the group’s 2014, Flood-produced self-titled album made up the majority of their set list for the night, including ‘Biggy’, ‘Feeling Alright’ and ‘Love Is To Die’.

They also weaved in fan favourites from 2009’s ‘Exquisite Corpse’ EP, such as ‘Billie Holiday’, and tracks from 2011’s full-length ‘The Fool’, including ‘Undertow’ and ‘Composure’.

With guitarists Emily Kokal and Theresa Wayman sharing vocal duties, Stella Mozgawa on drums and Jenny Lee Lindberg on bass, the band played for over an hour, covering 15 tracks and finishing their set with ‘Warpaint’s ‘Disco//very’, before returning to the stage – after much feet-stamping from the audience – for an encore that saw ‘The Fool”s ‘Baby’ morphing into ‘Exquisite Corpse”s ‘Elephants’.

Warpaint played:

‘Intro’
‘Keep It Healthy’
‘Bees’
‘Hi’
‘Composure’
‘Feeling Alright’
‘Biggy’
‘No Way Out’
‘Billie Holiday’
‘Undertow’
