Watch Rick Ross claim that Kanye West faked his own breakdown

Rapper calls West a genius and alleges that he 'played' fans

Rick Ross has claimed that Kanye West faked his own nervous breakdown after the rapper was hospitalised last month.

West was recently released from hospital after being hospitalised for “temporary psychosis due to sleep deprivation and dehydration” in late November, following a series on on-stage outbursts.

Appearing at an event in New York on Monday (December 12), Ross was filmed telling the crowd: “One time for Yeezy. My homie’s a genius. And for everybody who thought he was wigging out, he played y’all n***as.” Watch in the video below.

Rick Ross has worked with Kanye several times in the past and remixed West’s hit ‘Famous’ earlier this year.

Despite it being claimed that West would be ‘taking a break’ for the rest of the year, recent reports have claimed that West has “torn down” his studio as he prepares to resume his ‘Saint Pablo’ tour.

West’s hospitalisation came after an erratic few weeks. He cancelled the remainder of his ‘Saint Pablo’ tour, after a concert in Sacramento where he controversially cut his set short after just 30 minutes following a rant about Beyonce, where he claimed that her husband and West’s former friend and collaborator Jay Z had the means to have him killed. He also caused controversy when he admitted that he ‘would have voted for Donald Trump’.

Kanye West’s ‘The Life Of Pablo’ is number two in NME‘s Albums Of The Year list for 2016. West also featured in our Songs Of The Year list.
