In the comic, which was written by Tesfaye, La Mar Taylor and Christos Gate, he will fight the “cannibalistic criminal mastermind Jack ‘The Chef’ Smiley” in a bid to save the fictional city of Alphatron from his evil grasp. A press release says the villain is “not content with brutally murdering his victims, [and] also feasts upon their flesh.”

Recently, The Weeknd and Kendrick Lamar shared their contribution to the Black Panther soundtrack, in the form of the track ‘Pray For Me’.

Tesfaye has also been confirmed to headline a number of US festivals, including Coachella, Panorama, and Lollapalooza. He will be joined by fellow headliners Jack White, Bruno Mars, and Arctic Monkeys at the latter. He will also top the bill at Lollapalooza Berlin in September.
