WESTLIFE introduced the boyband phenomenon to an audience of 7,000 at the first date of a three-night stand in South Africa.

The Irish boys, who played the first of three shows in Cape Town at the city’s Bellville Velodrome last night, are the first boyband to play in the country.

They play at Sun City tonight (May 19) and Johannesburg Sundome tomorrow, before despatching to Hong Kong for further dates.
