Police investigate foul play after detecting injuries on Bobbi Brown’s face and mouth

It is reported that there was a history of violence between Brown and husband Nick Gordon

Police are investigating foul play after finding injuries on Bobbi Kristina Brown’s face and mouth after she was found unresponsive in a bathtub last month.

New reports suggest that there were issues of jealousy between Brown – the daughter of late singer Whitney Houston – and her husband Nick Gordon. Sources told TMZ that there was a history of violence between the couple, and that police were looking into a possible altercation more than an hour before Brown was found.

It is also reported that Max Lomas, the friend who discovered Brown in the bathtub, said that Gordon allegedly cleaned up the home and removed bloodstains before calling the police. Since then, Atlanta’s WSB-TV has claimed that police have detected injuries on Brown’s face and mouth and that they are also looking into suspected drugs found in her home in Roswell.

Bobbi Brown remains in a medically induced coma and is on a ventilator in Atlanta’s Emory University Hospital’s intensive care unit. It was originally reported that the 21-year-old was discovered by her husband Nick Gordon and friend Max Lomas on January 31. They attempted to resuscitate her until medics arrived.

Police spokeswoman Lisa Holland described how Brown’s husband revived his wife after discovering her. “They called 911, started CPR on her, and police arrived first. We took over the lifesaving measures until the fire/rescue and an ambulance arrived. Please keep her and the family in your thoughts and prayers,” she said.

Whitney Houston was found dead in a bathtub on February 11, 2012. Her death was caused by accidental drowning, heart disease and cocaine use.
