WILCO have confirmed final details of their new album ‘A GHOST IS BORN’ as well as a series of live dates.
As previously reported on NME.COM, the follow-up to 2002’s acclaimed ‘Yankee Hotel Foxtrot’ will be released by Nonesuch on June 7. The record was co-produced by Jim O’Rourke and Chris Shaw.
The LP features multi-instrumentalist Leroy Bach, who has since left the band.
‘A Ghost Is Born’, the band’s fifth, was mastered at London’s famous Abbey Road studios.

Wilco begin a brief pre-release tour of the US on April 21 at the Blue Note Theatre in Columbia, Missouri. The band also will be performing at this year’s Coachella Festival on May 1 and the Bonnaroo Festival on June 11. More international dates are to be announced shortly.
The band has just announced the addition of two new members to its touring line-up – Pat Sansone on keyboards, guitars and vocals and Nels Cline on guitars.
