Willow Smith outselling Black Eyed Peas in UK singles chart

'Whip My Hair' and 'The Time (Dirty Bit)' set to be high new entries

Willow Smith is on course to top the UK singles chart this Sunday (December 12), according to midweek sales figures.

The singer’s track ‘Whip My Hair’ is currently outselling its nearest contender, Black Eyed Peas‘ new effort ‘The Time (Dirty Bit)’, while Ellie Goulding‘s cover of Elton John‘s ‘Your Song’ is in the midweek Number Three position.

If Smith does go on to top the chart, the 10-year-old will become the youngest person to do so since Little Jimmy Osmond‘s 1972 Number One ‘Long Haired Lover From Liverpool’.
