Wu Tang Clan member made impromptu appearance at Perth establishment named in his honour
Wu Tang Clan rapper Ghostface Killah made a live appearance at an Australian cafe named Toastface Killah earlier today.
The rapper is in Australia to promote his new solo album ’36 Seasons’ when he was alerted to the existence of the cafe by DJs at the Triple J radio station. As the West Australian reports, he turned up at the Perth establishment and performed a short set outside for customers and passers by.
Word of the live show soon spread online, with many audience members posting pictures and video from the impromptu gig.
Meanwhile, Ghostface Killah’s fellow Wu-Tang Clan member RZA has revealed to NME that relations within the group are ‘not all that good right now’.
Speaking in the new issue of NME, which is on newsstands now and available digitally, the rapper discussed reports of a total breakdown of communications between him and his band mate Raekwon during work on Wu-Tang’s new album ‘A Better Tomorrow’, which was released earlier this year.
