Josh Franceschi reveals 'Sinners Never Sleep' was nearly named 'Little Death'

You Me At Six have revealed that they originally wanted to name their third studio album after an orgasm, but their record label wouldn’t allow it.

The Surrey rockers release ‘Sinners Never Sleep’ on October 3 and will debut ‘Loverboy’, the album’s first single, tomorrow night (August 11).

Speaking to Kerrang! about ‘Little Death’, a track on the band’s new LP, singer Josh Franceschi said:

This is me talking to the dude upstairs and telling him we’re not getting along right now. The title, though, isn’t about death at all. The French call an orgasm a little death, so we wanted to call the album that. The label said no, so it’s a song title instead.

Franceschi also spoke about new track ‘The Dilemma’, which was he said was inspired by when “I was single and I had about three girls on the go at the same time. It’s so upbeat it almost needs a burlesque video to go with it.”

Franceschi additionally confirmed that Bring Me The Horizon‘s Oli Sykes features on the track ‘Bite My Tongue’ and ‘Time Is Money’ will feature Parkway Drive singer Winston McCall.
